ALL 2 ALL

AN EPIPHANY SERMON/SMALL GROUP SERIES ON 1 CORINTHIANS 6-9

Theme Verse: “I have become all things to all men, that by all means I might save some.”

                                                                                                           (1 Corinthians 9:22)

Freedom is a privilege that comes with great responsibility. While God has given us the right to do anything we want, including disobeying Him, He expects us to be like Jesus and do His will. In fact, He gives us His Holy Spirit to enable us to live like Christ. Since it is God’s will that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9), we are called to proclaim the Gospel message to everyone we meet. To reach them will not be an easy task! The diverse cultural backgrounds of our North American culture means that using a “canned” approach to spread the Gospel message is going to produce little or no fruit. To reach our postmodern culture, we need to be like Paul and give up our freedom to live safely and become all things to all, through our witness by example and by engaging people so that we might win some to Christ.

  • Week 1 - Living God’s Will in Order to Save Some
  • Week 2 - Living God’s Hope in Order to Save Some
  • Week 3 - Removing Stumbling Blocks in Order to Save Some
  • Week 4 - Tailoring the Gospel in Order to Save Some

CHILDREN - COME JOIN US FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL

9:30am in the DISCOVERY DEN

Growing in faith is not something that happens by simply cramming information about the Bible into a child’s brain. The knowledge in their head means nothing if we don’t help kids experience what that knowledge can do in their heart. To experience faith, we want kids to practice their faith and that takes commitment.
